First, I'll go over the December numbers. Then, down below I'll hit the yearly numbers!

December!

December was a good month! On the money front, I years ago designed a Crane Wife shirt based on the Japanese legend. For whatever reason, those started selling like hotcakes. Well, hotcakes for me lol. So shirt sales were good, obviously Christmas helped with that. Bookwise, I did a promo where I put my books on sale for the holidays, and that led to some pretty robust sales! In person I did the Christmas on Madison event, which is always one of my favorite events of the year, and sales were good there too.

On the socials of things, things were essentially flat. I have GOT to get better with discord. That's a major goal for me in Q1 of 2024. If I don't get it together, I may as well not have it. I ran into a similar thing with my Patreon, and I fixed that issue, so I am confident I can get it together. But I have to put in the work.

Year End!

It makes a difference when you can see a years worth at once!

On the money side the big thing is I hit a goal I had of having a 10k year! Honestly I thought this would not be a goal I hit this year, thinking it would be next year at the earliest. But fuck me, I actually did it. Obviously, this was carried by largely increased book sales, both online and in person. They combined for over 9,200 hundred of my income. But hey, that means the rest of my streams were a bit over 1k! And 1k of mostly passive money is a win in my book. This was also my first year getting paid to be at events. Two events, 450 bucks. I will take that any time. So I am making moves to try and get into more events like that. Just gotta keep building the resume.

I have also been really pleased to see how my Patreon is finally starting to build a little steam. Crazy how it works when you actually do what you need to be doing haha. I am hoping to double my numbers on there next year, which I think is an achievable goal!

Socials-wise, Facebook actually went pretty good for me! Its the place I get the most engagement by far. So I am just going to keep doing what I am doing there, which is essentially just posting an image to my Instagram every day, and having it set to cross post on my FB page. Then just talking with anyone who comments. My email list got a huge bump, mostly thanks to some email builders I took part in. I won't be doing a ton more of those however, unless they are one of Courtney Cannons builders, at least in the near term. I am now tracking Discord and Amazon Followers on my yearly totals, so we shall see how they grow in the coming years. That will be neat to see.
