Another great month in the books! Holy hell guys, not sure what happened this month, but I like it!

Money talk first! It's clearly getting into the holiday season, because I saw a lot (for me) in shirt sales. If only it could be like that every month haha! I also had my first good month on itch.io in some time, as my game bundle started to pay off once more. I have to remember to keep that going, it makes such a huge difference. In person sales came in the form of selling at CONjuration (the topic of the last blog post on here), and that accounted for over half of my income this month. So yeah, nice. The big thing though, for me, was how much I had in online book sales, considering I didn't have a book launch. Nothing even close to that. But over 400 dollars in online sales is huge for me.

I set a goal for myself, on my success tracker, of having a year where I made 10k. It wasn't a short term goal, it was a long term one. One I was hoping to hit maybe next year, but more likely the year after that. But guys, I am sitting at almost 9,600 for the year. If I can somehow manage to sell a nudge over 400 bucks worth of stuff this month, I will reach that really huge success marker. I only have one small in person event though, so I don't know if I will get there. But even getting this close is amazing, and I really feel blessed. Now social media! My discord usage fell off precipitously, as I have been so swamped with work. I really, really need to get better about that. For the most part there was little to report here otherwise. I will note that I did an IAMA on reddit at the beginning of the month, that went really well. Some potentially big things are coming from that, but I can 100% attest to the fact that it got me a ton of my online sales this month. I could see a direct correlation, so I am going to keep my eye out for more opportunities to do things like that when I get a chance.

All in all, it was a really great month. I got to sell books alongside my friends, I made some big moves behind the scenes (expect a post about them maybe in January), and I am on track to maybe tick a huge box. I don't know what more I can ask for as an indie author.
