Rachel is part of the team at Crone Girls Press, and more relevant to me, the chief editor at Falstaff Dread, the imprint of Falstaff Books the publishes horror. As such, she is my editor there for my upcoming novel Capital of Nightmares! Also, she's an absolute fucking delight to be around.
John Hartness!
The man I consider my mentor, John gave me the advice that started me earnestly self-publishing. In the years since he's given me all sorts of advice that has really moved me forward. Also, he's the head of Falstaff Books, which as I just said above is publishing a novel of mine!
Ben Meeks!
Besides being the man who taught me the art of hand selling books, Ben is one of my dearest friends. No person has had as much of an influence on me as an author this man, and we have shared countless tables at countless events across the Southeastern US. If you see him at a con, odds are I'm not far off.
Cleo Miele!
Cleo wasn't my first editor, but she has been the person who has edited every book I have published, save for Bringing Home the Rain. She has somehow managed to not murder me over the bewildering number of ways I manage to misplace commas, for which she should receive a sainthood.
Wenonah Wilms!
Wenonah reached out to me after stumbling upon an AMA I did on Reddit. She was intrigued by the premise of my books so she reached out. As a screenwriter who has worked on shows like True Detective and Dark Winds, when she asked if I would be open to her writing a screenplay, I all but screamed yes.
John Solo!
The voice of Howard Marsh, John Solo is the narrator for all current and future Redemption of Howard Marsh books. One of the best in the biz, he has over 150 audiobooks to his credit, and has graciously decided to slum it with me for a series or two!

We lost our sweet boy Parker to congestive heart failure. Hims was the goodest boi, and our distinguished gentleman. He loved belly rubs so much and to prop himself up on your arm or leg and fall asleep was his absolute favorite. He was an excellent older brother to Oscar and Noodle, and the grumpy brother to his sister Olive. He was our little gap mouth, and whenever we tried to pack to go somewhere, he would come get in the suitcase because he didn't want us to leave. I wish I could have crawled into a suitcase to stop you leaving Bubba. Gonna miss you so much!
